Ramen or mazemen + gyoza + rice

About this place
At Mine, the first decision is whether to make gyoza the main event or pair it with ramen or fried rice. Diners have said the filling is seasoned enough to enjoy without dipping sauce, and some appreciate the texture of the wrappers. Sets range from a serving of gyoza on the side to two servings with rice and soup, making it easy to build a meal around the dumplings.
For both noodles and rice, ramen with fried rice is one option. A diner described the ramen as having a clear, soy-sauce-based broth with chashu pork, spring onion and bean sprouts. One reviewer characterised the fried rice as soy-sauce flavoured, while another found it balanced well with the ramen broth. There are combinations for a day when you want noodles and fried rice together, as well as for a more substantial meal of gyoza with rice.
Curry rice is another tempting choice. One account of a lunch describes a mildly spicy, old-fashioned curry with generously cut vegetables and pork. Gyoza can be added, and a ramen set also appears on the menu.
Mine is described as offering lunch options and as suitable for dining alone. The restaurant is in Katsuyama, Tennoji Ward, Osaka City. It is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 to 19:30, and closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Payment is cash only, so check that you have cash before stopping by for lunch.
